Adventure

Waterville Valley offers 125 miles of hiking trails, towering peaks, and 5 of the White Mountain 4,000 footers—making it a haven for outdoor exploration. Whether you are seeking a challenging hike, or a easier hike or nature walk with the whole family, Waterville Valley has a wide array of difficulties. Be sure to check out or hiking page before your trop to ensure you are picking the best hike for your trip! The Waterville Valley Recreation Department offers guided hikes and other outdoor programming.

Additionally, stop by the Adventure Center for more outdoor fun! Bike rentals are available for those seeking to cruise around town or take a deep dive into the Valley’s biking trails. Take a bike up Snow’s Mountain Chairlift and explore the cascades, and take on Waterville Valleys’ hidden gems.

The Adventure Center also offers Disc Golf rentals for our 2 Disc Golf courses: Snow’s Mountain and Town Square. Playing a round is free! Enjoy the game while surrounded by Waterville Valley’s natural beauty—whether you're navigating the wilderness course atop Snow’s Mountain or enjoying the more relaxed 9-hole layout around Town Square.

Summer Unplugged

New to the Valley this summer is the Summer Unplugged Series. The Town Square will be home to fun activities every Thursday through Sunday from June 26th to September 6th. Be sure to check our Events Calendar prior to your day trip to see which events line up with your trip!

Included Activities: Fairy House Building, Tie-Dye By the Pond, Cornhole Tournament, Photo Booth, Mechanical Bull Riding, Balloon Twisting, Face Painting, and Twilight S’mores!

Relax and Unwind

With summer right around the corner, Waterville Valley will be home to some of the most beautiful swimming spots in New Hampshire. Explore Waterville Valley’s vast trail system, and you will find breathtaking cascades and swimming holes!

Prefer something closer to town? Corcoran Pond, located next to Town Square, features daily-maintained beaches perfect for kids to splash in the water and play in the sand, all while enjoying stunning views.

If you are looking to lounge poolside, check out the White Mountain Athletic Club! White Mountain Athletic Club offers 1,600 square-foot heated "splash pad" offering a wide variety of water soaking features, a 25-meter pool, family play areas, underwater benches, deck jets, underwater color lighting, a "pool temperature" whirlpool spa overlooking the White Mountains, plus built-in basketball and pool volleyball amenities.
