Waterville Valley offers an extensive trail system, making it the perfect destination for a Father’s Day adventure in the White Mountains. Bring your own bike or choose from our well-maintained rental fleet, which includes road bikes, fat bikes, full-suspension bikes, and more. We also offer tandem bikes and tag-alongs, so the whole family can join in the fun. Bike rentals are available at the Adventure Center located in Town Square.

With the Freedom Pass, guests receive two hours of complimentary bike rental each day—plenty of time to explore over 50 miles of scenic mountain biking trails. The trails are conveniently accessible throughout the resort and connect to hiking paths, Nordic ski trails, and main roads.

For added adventure, bring your bike and take a ride up the Snow’s Mountain Chairlift for easy access to even more trails. Many of the routes are ideal for novice and intermediate riders, making it a great experience for families.

Nature Walks and Hikes

The White Mountains offer countless hiking opportunities for all skill levels. If you and your family are looking for a quick and easy nature outing this Father’s Day, Waterville Valley has plenty of picturesque walks and short hikes just steps from Town Square.

Head over to the Waterville Valley Tennis Center and experience the Valley’s one-of-a-kind tennis facility! With 18 outdoor clay courts and 2 indoor courts located at the White Mountain Athletic Club, the Tennis Center offers top-tier facilities, expert instruction, a dedicated staff, and a breathtaking mountain backdrop—everything you need to make this Father’s Day unforgettable.

Adult and junior clinics are available daily, making it easy for everyone to get in the game. Golf and Disc Golf

Summer has arrived, it’s time to spend your Father’s Day on Waterville Valley’s scenic 9-hole golf course. Each hole offers a unique view of the surrounding mountains, with spectacular views of Waterville Valley Ski Area as well. Grab your clubs, enjoy a bite to eat at the Clubhouse Restaurant, and explore the course as it winds through the mountains and back down into town.

Waterville Valley is home to two Disc Golf courses as well, with a 9-hole course in Town Square, as well as a 18-hole course weaving through Snow’s Mountain. Take in the incredible views of surrounding mountain peaks no matter which course you choose. Playing a round is free! Disc rentals are available at the Adventure Center located in Town Square.

Dining

There is no better way to unwind after an action packed day than dining in Town Square. Outdoor dining is available across Town Square, from breakfast at La Tasse Cafe to pizza night with the family at Olde Waterville Pizza Co.
