Take the Trip Up Snow’s Mountain
Snow’s Mountain is one of the many hubs of summer activity here in the Valley. Whether you're seeking a leisurely chairlift ride or an adventure-filled mountain biking excursion, Snow’s Mountain has you covered. Here's your itinerary for a day of fun and exploration.
Before heading to Snow’s Mountain, stop by Town Square to grab a few essentials. Start your day with breakfast at La Tasse Café. After all, no one wants to embark on an afternoon adventure on an empty stomach. Next, swing by Jugtown Country Store for snacks and other necessities. Finally, visit the Adventure Center for any gear or items specific to Snow’s Mountain.
If mountain biking is part of your plan, rentals are available for all guests—and they're free for Freedom Pass holders! Prefer disc golf? You’re in luck—playing a round on the 18-hole disc golf course is free. Bags and discs are available to rent at the Adventure Center for just $15.
Freedom Pass guests also enjoy one complimentary chairlift ride per day. Alternatively, you’re welcome to begin your hike from the Snow’s Mountain parking lot. If you're bringing a bike to the top, you can easily attach it to the lift for convenient trail access.
Once you’ve reached the top of the lift, it’s time to explore. Disc golfers can start their round right off the lift and follow the 18-hole course back down to the base. Don’t forget to enjoy the breathtaking views of our ski area and the surrounding mountain peaks along the way. Check out the course map here!
Hikers and bikers should begin on the Upper Snow’s Mountain Trail, which winds down to the base of the mountain with incredible views at every turn. Be sure to visit Cascade Falls: from the top of the chairlift, walk 0.8 miles along Upper Snow's X-C Trail. As you approach the first bridge, look for the sign marking the Cascades Path on your right.
This is only a glimpse into what Snow’s Mountain has to offer. So grab your gear, and get ready to make unforgettable summer memories in the Valley.
