This free community event invites cowboys, cowgirls, and city slickers of all ages to experience the charm, excitement, and silliness of the Wild West from 4pm-8pm. With restaurants, shops, and recreational activities within arms reach, Town Square is the perfect place to not only get your west on for one afternoon, but also plan entire weekend of family fun!

Buckle Up for the Mechanical Bull!

No western party is complete without a good ol’ photo session! Grab a prop, strike a pose, and snap a memory in our themed photobooth.
Cowboy Costume Contest
Got fringe? Spurs? A cowboy hat that lights up? Strut your stuff in our costume contest and show us what a real cowboy (or cowgirl) looks like. Prizes await the best-dressed wranglers, so don’t be shy—go all out!
Wild West Shootout
Sharpen your aim and channel your inner sharpshooter in our (kid-friendly) Wild West Shootout. It’s safe, silly, and seriously fun for all ages.
Western Games Galore
Test your frontier skills in our lineup of classic western games. From pint-sized cowpokes to full-grown gunslingers, there’s a challenge for everyone.
All are encouraged to come dressed in their best cowboy or cowgirl attire, and hats will be available for purchase in Town Square to get everyone into that country spirit! Join us from 4-8pm as the Waterville Rodeo promises a fun-filled western experience right in the heart of the White Mountains.
