Waterville Valley Resort is seeking full-time and part-time seasonal Welcome Center & Central Reservations Sales Associates. Requirements include but are not limited to: booking reservations for numerous lodging properties in and around Waterville Valley and supplying accurate information to callers about Waterville Valley lodging, activities, and amenities, capturing all incoming resort calls, receiving all lodging reservation calls and upsell other Resort products, sell all Resort and partner products/services, help maintain guest database and data marketing, and support group sales fulfillment and sales efforts. Experience working in a customer-driven environment, strong computer skills, and must have exceptional customer relations, verbal, vocabulary, grammatical, and telephone etiquette skills. Performs custodial maintenance duties, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, cleaning and restocking restrooms. Performs general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies. Performs routine maintenance to custodial equipment and supplies. Empties trash receptacles, disposes trash into dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal. * Unlocks doors, ensuring doors are locked after cleaning areas. * Reports needs and concerns to appropriate staff. * Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices. * Assists in on-the-job training of new staff on routine procedures. * Performs cleaning functions specific to the assigned facilities and/or based on requirements. * May provide vendors with access to areas for cleaning and may answer basic questions. May report issues with vendors to supervisor. * May assist or perform snow removal activities and minor maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs, adjusting furniture, or other similar activities. Waterville Valley Resort is seeking part-time and full-time banquet servers. Duties include, but are not limited to: provide excellent table service by setting tables; stocking service stations with supplies, beverages, condiments and other needed items; explaining menu to guests and answering questions about food preparations and contents; taking orders and accurately communicating orders to banquet manager, supervisor, kitchen and/or bar staff as appropriate; serving all ordered food and beverages; setting up banquet rooms and coffee stations; monitoring tables to assure all guest needs and requests are met; clearing and cleaning tables; cleaning and straightening service stations and work areas. Assure health and safety by learning and following established health and safety procedures; maintaining good person hygiene; discarding food properly; assuring that special dietary requests are ordered and served.
