OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

 TUBING 

Whether you're looking for après-ski fun or family-friendly thrills - the Waterville Valley Tubing Center has it all! This quaint, classic tubing hill is located at the Waterville Valley Golf Course, overlooking stunning views of the ski area. Share in the joy, laughter, and exhilaration by riding in a family-sized tube. Single-person tubes offer optimal speed, perfect for those younger adrenaline junkies. The Tubin Center also has an on-site Clubhouse, where you can bring the family to warm up, grab some hot cocoa (spiked or unspiked), or enjoy a bite from their pub-fare menu. Tubing. Hit the alpine or Nordic trails at Waterville Valley! Expand your little shredder’s horizons by swinging by our kid-approved terrain parks or take a ride on our summit-top T-Bar which services intermediate trails. The Freestyle Lounge is home to family-friendly après ski parties with live entertainment every Saturday during the ski season. 

 

FAT BIKING 

Explore the beauty of the White Mountains via fat bike! With wide tires and sufficient traction, fat bikes allow you to ride through the snow, ice, sand, and other mixed-condition trails. Fat biking is best suited for older children who are confident in their bike riding skills. Explore the wintry woods by riding along some Nordic trails, or cruise around town and enjoy the panoramic mountain views. Please bear in mind, only certain Nordic trails are open to fat biking, so be sure to double-check your route before embarking on an excursion. INDOOR ACTIVITIES 

  ARCADE

Legends Adventure Arcade is a favorite spot among local kids. This family-friendly arcade is home to various arcade games, like Motocross, Basketball, Air Hockey, Space Invaders Frenzy, and more. SPALSH & SWIM

The White Mountain Athletic Club is no ordinary gym. Home to an indoor swimming pool, whirlpools, cardio, and weight rooms, hot tub, indoor track, indoor tennis court, steam and sauna rooms, and game room. Kids can splash around in the indoor pool while you enjoy a nice soak in the hot tub. The game room, indoor tennis court, and whirlpool are also highly rated among kids. Plus, if you're staying at one of Waterville Valley's participating lodges, you get unlimited access to the WMAC through the Freedom Pass! ROCK CLIMBING, BEAR FACTORY, AND MORE!

The Waterville Valley Recreation Department offers a plethora of different activities for kids of all ages. Enjoy indoor rock climbing on a 30 ft rock wall, or try out their no-rope bouldering traverse! Rock climbing takes place every Saturday from 3pm-5pm. Kids adore building their own stuffed animals at their Bear Factory, which offers a similar experience to Build-A-Bear. Bear Factory takes place on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-12pm. Open Gym features basketball, mats, hula hoops, and more, and takes place Fridays from 6:45pm-8pm, and Saturdays from 10:30am-11:30pm. Located at the center of activity in Town Square, along the shores of Corcoran Pond, the Ice Arena is a delightful activity for kids of all ages! The ice arena offers skate rentals to fit nearly any size. With affordable pricing under $10, the Ice Arena welcomes families of all ages and stages.
