Head to Waterville Valley and help send off summer in style during the ‘Just Ducky’ End of Summer Bash. This annual event is a one-day celebration over Labor Day Weekend, Sunday, September 2.
Labor Day in Waterville is a full day of family fun and entertainment that includes face painting, a meet and greet with the Valley Snow Dogz and Bruce the Moose, a scavenger hunt and live entertainment. Everyone is invited to participate in the annual ‘Just Ducky’ rubber duck race on Corcoran Pond at 5 p.m., to benefit the Pemi Bridge House and includes cash prizes for the three fastest ducks.
Music is set to fill Town Square. From 12pm to 3pmTed & Rosemarie will be performing and from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. it’s time to listen to The 603's. The day culminates with fireworks over Corcoran Pond at 8:30 p.m. Visit the Waterville Valley event page for a full schedule.
Ducks are available for purchase at Town Square Condos check-in office, Bookmonger/Toad Hall Toys, Waterville Mercantile and Dreams and Visions. They are $3/duck or four for $10. Participants do not need to be present to win but are encouraged to cheer on the ducks during the race.
